Daniel Azoulay



Daniel Azoulay is a Jerusalem artist who combines traditional and modern media to create finely-crafted Judaica.

All of Daniel Azoulay's ketubahs are by the giclee method – modern day lithography – paper cut on the fine acid-free paper, and hand-embellished with 24 karat gold leaf. Each ketubah is dated, numbered, and signed by the artist and is one of a limited edition. It not only imbues the marriage ceremony with beauty, but is an artwork to be lastingly treasured by future generations. It is the new couple's first family heirloom.

Careful planning and many months of experimentation precede the creation of Azoulay's artwork. Art and nature, as well as spiritual elements belonging to Jewish customs and folklore come together in a unique and imaginative way. Starting with an inspiration drawn from the wellsprings of Jewish tradition and symbolism, Azoulay blends artistic and architectural elements of Europe, North Africa, and the Mid-East in his intricately designed paper cuts.
