The Proclaim Liberty Bell Mezuzah
MADE IN USA
The handsomely detailed Liberty Bell Mezuzah, designed by nationally recognized artist Ade Bethune (1914-2002), is 6" tall, cast in pewter.
A kosher scroll is included.
A chime that changed the world rang out on July 8, 1776, when the Liberty Bell pealed forth from the tower of Independence Hall summoning citizens to hear the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Now you can mount this beautiful, limited-edition Liberty Bell Mezuzah on the doorposts of your home. Proudly display this symbol of Jewish faith and the spirit of American freedom with the Bells famous inscription from the Torah, Proclaim liberty in the land for all its inhabitants, (Leviticus 25:10) prominently featured.
The Liberty Bell Mezuzah was commissioned by Lubavitch of Center City after 9/11 as a patriotic way of showing Jewish American pride. The motto at the time was "Make This Your Symbol of Patriotism!" They asked Ade Bethune to design an original Liberty Bell Mezuzah case, which people would be proud to display on their doorposts.
