Candleholders Wildflowers Collection Michael Aram

The Wildflower Collection is a celebration of often overlooked, disregarded, and under appreciated flowers.  The inspiration for Wildflower came from the discovery of a set of 19th century hand-tinted, botanical illustrations which, over time, had faded to muted, dusty tones. Touched by how beautifully each wildflower had been rendered in the antique drawings, Aram took great care to capture and recreate the naturalistic movement and gentle hues in hand-enameled and sculpted metal.  Uncultivated by definition, wildflowers, as interpreted by Aram, reflect the ideal of "perfectly imperfect" and capture a sense of carefree innocence in the fleeting joyfulness of nature.
