Polished Brass Telescope Keychain, 3"
Celebrate and acknowledge the historical and still used tool for bringing distant objects closer with this miniature but functioning polished brass 3" telescope keychain. Primarily associated with star gazing and exploration and sailing navigation, the history of the telescope can be traced to before the invention of the earliest known telescope, which appeared in 1608 in the Netherlands, when a patent was submitted by Hans Lippershey, an eyeglass maker. Although Lippershey did not receive his patent, news of the invention soon spread across Europe.
This functioning 3" polished brass telescope keychain features a 2-1/2" gold chain for a overall total length of 5". Makes for a great party favor, groomsman gift, stocking stuffer or key holder.
