"What others can't see. Photographic testimony from both sides of the Warsaw Ghetto Wall 1943"

Discover the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising from two unique perspectives, beautifully captured in a two-volume boxed set. The album by Zbigniew Leszek Grzywaczewski offers a view from the center of the ghetto, where the photographer served as a firefighter. These unique images are accompanied by a moving tribute to Maciej Grzywaczewski’s father and an article by Polish historian Dr. Jacek Leociak. Rudolf Damec's album, on the other hand, provides a different angle, showcasing photos taken along the ghetto wall on the 'Aryan' side during the uprising. These powerful images are enriched by the addition of photographs by her granddaughter, Aleksandra Sobiecka, and an insightful article by Barbara Engelking, the founder and director of the Polish Center for Holocaust Research, in Warsaw,
