This Seder plate features a hand-painted Armenian pattern. Authentic Armenian pottery continues to be created in the Old City of Jerusalem, where it began centuries ago. The techniques used by those artisans are similar to what artists use today to create pieces, such as this Seder plate. Six spaces on the plate are labeled in Hebrew and English and hold the accompanying 6 ceramic dishes for each of the symbolic foods for the Passover Seder. The Hebrew word Pesach, meaning Passover, appears in the center.
