Sadly, this necklace is not what I was expecting. When you put it on, you have to decide which version will have the diamonds showing, because if you want to change it from one design to the other while wearing it, it flips sides.
Meaning, if you start the day wearing it as a star, and you want to change it mid day, you must unclasp it, rotate it, and reclasp it. No thanks.

Hi Jillian,

We're sorry to hear that you don't like our iconic and popular Spanish-Inquisition-Inspired inspired Butterfly Necklace. The necklace is seen as an underground symbol of resistance to tyranny and persecution. Unfortunately, this is the nature of the necklace - the pieces must be flipped over in order to resemble butterflies, which is true of any Jeweler's interpretation of this wearable piece of history. As soon as we receive the necklace, we can process your return.

Best,
The Weitzman Team

I love it. I just wish the chain wasn’t so cheap and delicate. The star itself and the concept behind it is lovely.

Beautiful

I received a similar necklace as a gift from a trip to Israel. This is the first Star of David fashioned in the same style. It’s well made, beautiful, and will make an excellent gift.
